Been kinda sick this week so we took it easy. Probably Corona. Lol jk jk...... Probably... Nothing too exciting happened. Scrubbed This lady's deck again, so that was kinda fun. The weather is PERFECT, clear skies and in the 70s most days We spend most nights laughing until we cry/wheeze. Lol, definitely lost my voice one day from laughing too hard. Good ab work out tho, would recommend.  We've been painting lots of rocks, and then we write ComeuntoChrist.org on them and leave them all over. Kinda an Oregon vibe.  Also we may start teaching a bunch of new people this week! Lots of people have been responding and we may even start teaching a family, which is always the best ❤ and They're spanish speaking, which is perfect for sis Matheson. The lord works in mysterious ways, that's all I gotta say.  Anyway love you all, God is good, stay groovy

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...

Wow what even happened the past 2 weeks....  We had Zone conference, and we are back out on the streets! Which I'm a little nervous about cuz *people* but it hasn't been so bad because no one else is outside. We've also been doing a TON of service and I LOVE it!!! Its been such a tender mercy. Mostly we help people move. We are still teaching a lot, still LOVE this ward, still petting cats and drawing drawings. AlsoTransfer calls are Friday, and Pres says I'm staying but you never really know. I HOPE I STAY!!!! Friends!! Not much to report, same old same old. Sooo heres a spiritual thought!  Alma 57: 25 reads:  "And it came to pass that there were two hundred, out of my two thousand and sixty, who had fainted because of the loss of blood; nevertheless, according to the goodness of God, and to our great astonishment, and also the joy of our whole army, there was not one soul of them who did perish; yea, and neither was there one soul among them who had not received many wounds."  I really like this because not one of these young warriors were killed, but every single one of them had many wounds. Just because we have many wounds and scars and heartaches does not mean God loves us any less. Nor does it mean He is punishing us. Soooooooo yeah we had transfers yesterday (which is why I'm emailing today) and sis Hair went over the mountain to Bend and it was the worst. There was screaming and wailing and gnashing of teeth. But whatever obviously I'm over it. It was a hard day but also a good one cuz I got to go back to SALEM!!!!!! (technically my first area for like a week lol.) The Vernonia sisters (Johansson & Jorgenson) slept over sunday night. then we left super early monday morning to drop sis hair off in Salem. And then my heart died. So ma girls J&J took me to down town Salem and we got drinks and sat in the grass and just talked, which was really nice. Then we went to some cute shops and got Mediterranean food for lunch. So all was well in the end I guess. You meet some amazing people on the mish.
