To The Streets
Wow what even happened the past 2 weeks....
We had Zone conference, and we are back out on the streets! Which I'm a little nervous about cuz *people* but it hasn't been so bad because no one else is outside. We've also been doing a TON of service and I LOVE it!!! Its been such a tender mercy. Mostly we help people move.
We are still teaching a lot, still LOVE this ward, still petting cats and drawing drawings. AlsoTransfer calls are Friday, and Pres says I'm staying but you never really know. I HOPE I STAY!!!!
Also sis Mecham goes home next Wednesday, so that's sad..... kinda emo about it.
Spiritual thought:
You know how in Helamon 16:2 Samuel the Lamanite is up on the city wall, preaching the good word, and people literally start throwing rocks at him because they don't like what he's saying because it makes them feel guilty? Well as I was reading that I had a thought come to mind; What are some things that I throw rocks at? Do I throw rocks at gospel principles or mission standards because they make me angry/guilty? Do I "get rid of" any of my problems by throwing rocks at them until they go away? It just got me thinking about humility and how it's essential to our eternal progression. Humility keeps us from throwing rocks at stuff. We shouldn't throw rocks at stuff. Especially of that stuff is there for our benefit. Anyway, just a thought.
