I Have The Biggest Crush On Oregon, You Already Know

OKAY, wow busy busy busy. SO it's been like 2 weeks since I emailed but that's cuz we took a new convert to the temple on friday!!! And when we go to the temple we have to make that day our P-day, so we literally went 10 days without P-day, haha but it was all good. The temple was AMAZING!! I just love the temple. Whenever I'm in one my soul just feels like its home ❤ so worth it. But yeah that basically took up the whole day so there was no time to email. 


But teaching has been going great! We have found a new person literally every week since we've been here, so cool. So many miracles. And theres this one sweet Gal who we found last week from a member referral. Her name is Sharon and she lives in an old folks home. And her friend, Don, who is a member, gave her a book of mormon 2 weeks ago and shes already in MOSIAH??? Whatta womannnnnn. Sharon is literally the coolest. She just loves the book of mormon, because she understands it and it makes her feel good and shes drawn to it. So cool!!! And she has 2 daughters who are ministers in other churches who dont like her reading the "mormons book" but shes just like, "oh NAH you don't tell ME what to do! Imma keep reading this book cuz its AWESOME." Haha shes an icon. But wow we could all learn something from her. She does the things that make her happy (like the gospel and book of mormon) DESPITE opposition and persecution, because she KNOWS it's good for her and shes not giving that happiness up because of someone else's opinion. Go Sharon!!! 


Another gal we're teaching, named Sammy, is also super cool. Another member referral (members, you dont UNDERSTAND the impact you have on the people around you!!!!) And we meet with her every Wednesday night and this past Wednesday she had just gotten home when we got there, and she had this teenie tiny baby puppy, it was all black and felt like a cloud, so that was awesome. 


Also, the past couple of days have been really kinda hard, so I think I'm going home. 
Nahhhhhh just kidding!! Haha guys I would never!! But the thought has definitely crossed my mind, thinking about how much I miss books and movies and music, and some days I really would rather be home in pajamas with my family. Its true. But just because things get hard doesn't mean it's time to give up. No no no. "When the going gets tough, the tough get going!" - unknown (cuz ya gurl don't have google). But yeah I've definitely cried a lot, haha. But that's okay! Its okay to not be okay 100 percent of the time.

And I know that Gods got me. Even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes. 


We also got to weed for people a lot over the past 2 weeks, and it was actually really fun? Like what! Since when have I liked weeding? Gross! haha no but I actually loved wearing SWEAT PANTS and playing in the dirt.

It's Raining It Pouring My Life Is Boring

Haha yeah I'm getting a little stir-crazy...  And its raining........ Things have been good tho. We started teaching a new lil honey, almost put them on date, and could possibly drop them today, And We have virtual lessons with members every night which cures my depression I love the members here ❤  Not much else has been happening... Ashley is AMAZING and progressing so well!! She just eats up everything we teach her, and is SO excited! I love her, shes also pretty hilarious.  Nothing can stop the work of God!!!  We were supposed to get transfer calls last night.... but that never happened. Idk what's going on... ever, it's fine. I could get yeeted outta B-ville on thursday or I could stay for 2 more months. Or all the missionaries will get sent home. Idk man. We're just all chillin in our apartments doing puzzles 'n stuff.  I have a lot of time to draw tho so that's been nice. ONE YEAR???????

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...
