GET HYPED

GUYS I HAD 2 BAPTISMS!!!!!!! my first "official" ones!!!! (Tecnically I've had 4, + 2 ppl on date)  But guys it was sooooo beautiful!!!! Damien and Nyla were the ones baptized, they live in Vegas but flew out to lil ol Forest Grove to be baptized here so family could come. And so we could come!!!!!! Oh my goodness it was indescribable. It was really small cuz of social distancing, so we felt very special that they wanted us there. But it was literally a miracle. Our little quarantine miracle, cuz all of this came out of a short lil message from the bible that turned into the missionary discussions, that turned into baptisms. God is still a God of miracles, and not even a world wide pandemic can stop His work from progressing. 
The gospel is so amazing, like when a person gets baptized it's like Christ raising them from spiritual death, which is as much of a miracle as Christ raising someone from physical death. The spirit was so strong. I love this gospel. It feels like home. It literally fills my soul and my heart, I cant explain it. But with the gospel and Jesus Christ in my life I feel complete and full. Full of joy and hope and peace and light, despite the heartache and darkness in the world. What a blessing. "Who could have supposed that our God [could] have been so merciful????" (Alma 26:17)  


3 Nephi 27:16 - 
"And it shall come to pass, that whoso repenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world."


ALSO, we are officially in phase 1 of reopening, SO we can go back into peoples houses!!!!!!!! By invitation only. And still no street contacting or knocking (which I'm not too upset about, TBH) So it's been an awesome week, to say the least. 


Also, WE GOT A FREAKING CAR!!!!!! it's a lil red thang named "Gi-gi" (against my best efforts and immense protesting). But hey I'll take what I can get.

It's Raining It Pouring My Life Is Boring

Haha yeah I'm getting a little stir-crazy...  And its raining........ Things have been good tho. We started teaching a new lil honey, almost put them on date, and could possibly drop them today, And We have virtual lessons with members every night which cures my depression I love the members here ❤  Not much else has been happening... Ashley is AMAZING and progressing so well!! She just eats up everything we teach her, and is SO excited! I love her, shes also pretty hilarious.  Nothing can stop the work of God!!!  We were supposed to get transfer calls last night.... but that never happened. Idk what's going on... ever, it's fine. I could get yeeted outta B-ville on thursday or I could stay for 2 more months. Or all the missionaries will get sent home. Idk man. We're just all chillin in our apartments doing puzzles 'n stuff.  I have a lot of time to draw tho so that's been nice. ONE YEAR???????

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...
