Exploitation

So we were forced to sing at ward conference on Sunday... therefore, I was exploited. Would not recommend. 
It actually went fairly well, lol. We sang Worn by Tenth Avenue North, which I was kinda surprised Bishop let us, it's not a very hymn-ish song, lol. Bishop loved it tho so 


Anyway, other than that it's been a great week! We started teaching 3 new people!!!! One of them, Lingy, had taken the lessons before, but they could never get her to church so they dropped her. I recently had the prompting to go and see her, so we did, and then started reading the BOM with her every Saturday. This past Saturday she asked a lot questions about garments and temples, which is a subject that usually overwhelms people, so we were a little hesitant, but after we explained the purpose of the temple garment, Lingy was like "how do I get to the temple????" It was so cool. Shes so in tune with the spirit and has complete and absolute trust in the Lord. 


The next two people are a mother (Ashley) and her son (Cameron). The hubby is a member but hes been inactive most of his life, and we've been trying to teach them for FOREVER. Then, like 2 weeks ago, Bishop called us and told us that Ashley wants to get baptized. And they're gonna let Cameron (9) decide for himself after the lessons. We met with them on Sunday and had a really good lesson. They're amazing.


We also had a sleepover with the sisters in Lebanon on Saturday night cuz of some sketchy things in our apartment ... again. so that was fun. 


Guys, being a missionary is literally the COOLEST! Yo I havnt said that since the MTC, Miracles.
 I know I've said this before, but it's just amazing watching God pull his children out of darkness. It's the most beautiful thing, words cant even describe it. I'm grateful He let's me be a part of it. Cuz like He totally doesn't need my help, if anything, I'm a hindrance. But, despite my carnal condition, the Lord allows me to be a part of His glorious work ❤ 
And its incredible how much I love these people, some of whom I've only met, like, twice! I know it's the Savior showing me how he feels about these precious souls. And the overwhelming amount of love I feel for them is only a fraction of how the Lord feels about them. Pretty cool.

It's Raining It Pouring My Life Is Boring

Haha yeah I'm getting a little stir-crazy...  And its raining........ Things have been good tho. We started teaching a new lil honey, almost put them on date, and could possibly drop them today, And We have virtual lessons with members every night which cures my depression I love the members here ❤  Not much else has been happening... Ashley is AMAZING and progressing so well!! She just eats up everything we teach her, and is SO excited! I love her, shes also pretty hilarious.  Nothing can stop the work of God!!!  We were supposed to get transfer calls last night.... but that never happened. Idk what's going on... ever, it's fine. I could get yeeted outta B-ville on thursday or I could stay for 2 more months. Or all the missionaries will get sent home. Idk man. We're just all chillin in our apartments doing puzzles 'n stuff.  I have a lot of time to draw tho so that's been nice. ONE YEAR???????

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...
