Transfers!!

Soooooooo my work in Willamina is done, for now at least.

I was very sad to leave, there was wailing and gnashing of teeth. Not really, but there were a whole lot of tears. I kinda knew I was getting transferred. It was really hard to leave all the people I had come to love with my whole heart. It was like saying goodbye to my family again! And I'll miss Sharon's baptism, but that's okay because I know Brownsville, my new area, is where the Lord needs me right now.

But yoooo, Brownsville is straight out of a hallmark movie!! it's kinda the cutest in the whole world and the people here love the missionaries!! They're not interested in the gospel, but they love us.

So my last week in Willamina, lol I don't even remember what happened except for one thing: Sharon went to a bible class where a preacher had been bashing her and giving her crap for reading the Book of Mormon for a long time. And she walked right in there, announced her baptism, then invited them all to come, she's a savage!!! They were pretty mad, lol and the preacher started bashing, but Sharon was NOT having it, she shut him right down. It was awesome.

So I spent most of Sunday packing and saying goodbye to my people. Then Monday, a member family, the Griggs, drove me to Brownsville. It was fun cuz they just had twins and I got to sit in the back with them

My new companion is sister Goold!! She's been out for 9 months and she is the sweetest. We spent the day planning and studying. Then we didn't have any lessons so we went proselyting for 3 hours straight. Gah, my legs hurt so bad, but it was fun. We just laughed and talked mostly cuz it was dark and no one was out. Oof.

Tuesday, we actually had some lessons! So I got to meet 4 of our people. And one of the lessons was sorta just this guy subtly bashing us, but his friend, Rob, would defend us! He is so cool and so sensitive to the spirit. Every time he spoke, the spirit was so strong. He is so prepared. So we teach the one guy, his wife, and Rob, but we want to just teach Rob, cuz he's sincere and the other guy ain't. But we cant just teach Rob without offending the other people. It was a tricky situation. So at the end of our lesson, we told them we couldn't meet with then anymore cuz our purpose as missionaries is to bring others to Christ through baptism and progression not just have bible discussions. And theres really nothing more we can do for them. And Rob was like, "oh, just come over to my house and start over!" What?!!! Rob!!!!! Oh my goodness it was so cool!!! Everything worked out perfectly, and the spirit was SO strong when he invited us over. Apparently, sis Goold and her old comp had been trying to figure out this situation for a while. It was awesome.

Then the next day we did some service at a thrift shop, which was really fun. Found some... interesting things, to say the least and we got out kinda later than we had hoped, but it was actually by divine design cuz we ran into ROB!!!!!! And he showed us where he lived and we set up a lesson for friday!!!!!!! It was so cool. Oh my goodness, God is so good.

Also the members here are INCREDIBLE!!! They are so kind to us, and it's really humbling and eye opening. People are actually good, lol. It almost makes me cry, I'm so grateful for all they do for us. There are a couple families in the ward that are making all these fun special plans for us for Thanksgiving and Christmas, to make sure we have good holidays. It just blows my mind how kind they are to a complete stranger like myself!! I know God is watching over me. Leaving Willamina was SO hard, but I have seen Gods hand so much over the past couple days, and I'm amazed at how he cares for me... it's so crazy. Gah, I am just in awe.

Anyway, wow this is REALLY long, lol, my B.

Here are some pictures!!!
