Grand Ronde, Why You So Extra?

Okay so the reason for the title of this email: Grand Ronde is one of the small towns we're over and its absolutely gorgeous and is mostly just tress and green and "mountains" (they're really just hills, lol) and on one of the mountains theres a big smiley face made out of trees???? You can only see it in the fall. You'll understand when you see the picture. 


ANYWAY awesome miracle this week!!!! The sweet lady we're teaching in the rest home is still cruising through the book of mormon; she started over like 10 days ago and is already in Alma??!!! but anyway, shes been studying the BOM for almost a month and , background info: shes had cancer for a LONG time. BUT, she recently got some tests done and she is now 100 PERCENT cancer free!!!! The tumor she had a couple weeks ago vanished, and the doctors can't explain it -- but we can. God is still a God of miracles!!!!! And me and Sis. Cozzens both had the strongest impression that God is blessing her because of her Faith and preserving her so she can receive the true and restored gospel!!!! So coool!!!!!!! so that's awesome. God is seriously SO good. Kinda the coolest. Anyway, not much else has been happening. Just the usual  But here are some pics!!!

(Sidenote: We spent all of one of our dinner appointments talking about this cute 6 year old's Thomas the train "minis" and looking at his MASSIVE collection. he had DC characters so naturally I had to take a picture, lol. We also got to go to the temple on tuesday❤❤❤)

It's Raining It Pouring My Life Is Boring

Haha yeah I'm getting a little stir-crazy...  And its raining........ Things have been good tho. We started teaching a new lil honey, almost put them on date, and could possibly drop them today, And We have virtual lessons with members every night which cures my depression I love the members here ❤  Not much else has been happening... Ashley is AMAZING and progressing so well!! She just eats up everything we teach her, and is SO excited! I love her, shes also pretty hilarious.  Nothing can stop the work of God!!!  We were supposed to get transfer calls last night.... but that never happened. Idk what's going on... ever, it's fine. I could get yeeted outta B-ville on thursday or I could stay for 2 more months. Or all the missionaries will get sent home. Idk man. We're just all chillin in our apartments doing puzzles 'n stuff.  I have a lot of time to draw tho so that's been nice. ONE YEAR???????

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...
