It's Fall Y'all

First of all, FAITH IT TIL YOU MAKE IT!!! 


As you all know, I am currently being trained and I spend a lot of my time "winging it" in situations cuz Syd doesn't know what the heck she's doing anytime ever. So I say 'fake it til you make it' a lot and whenever I say that Sis Cozzens is always like, "NO!!! FAITH it til you make it!" Haha and I just really love that cuz its true! I have to rely on Heavenly Father to help me (faith) or I would NOT be able to do this! Faith is so so important, but also like really hard. It definitely takes a lifetime to get it down. But it also makes life a little easier. When we stop worrying about things we cant control and put our trust in God, everything seems to fall into place. 


Anyway this week has been pretty chill I think. I got sick tho with a pretty awesome cold so that's good. Love talking to random strangers with a stuffy nose. It leaves a really good first impression. Lol but anyway it's kinda going away now. But we (me, sis Cozzens, and Lee) did some service on Wednesday for this cute old lady named Wilma who has a lot of friends who are members, and we went over to her house and helped her make homemade apple cider!!! Best service opportunity ever!!!! And then she let us take some home!!!! It was soooooooo good. But sis Cozzens and my best friend Lee are both country folk through and through and kept making fun of sis Cannon from Lehi Utah who literally cant cut an apple in half without cutting herself. Lol I'm such a sheltered "city" girl, anyway it was just really cool to get to know Wilma and to serve her. Honestly that's the best way to do missionary work. Is to serve and love others. Dont force the gospel down anyone's throat. 


Also freaking GENERAL CONFERENCE!! WHAT!!! So cool. Elder Uchtdorf and his Hobbit analogy, now THATS teaching! Haha. But literally what a blessing to just sit and listen to APOSTLES OF GOD for 2 days!!! So much council and answers. If you haven't watched conference GO DO IT!!! 


But yeah not much to report this week. Except that I had an ingrown toenail (freaking gross) that I got removed today (freaking OUCH) So that was super fun. Haha but I'm still lovin' Oregon!!! GOODNESS, its gorgeous. And small town FALL vibes??? Yes please. Man, this earth is so beautiful, like how could there not be a God? 


Anyway GOD IS SO GOOD. He's so good. I feel so taken care of out here and I know it's because of God. He watches over all of you, even if you sometimes cant feel it.

It's Raining It Pouring My Life Is Boring

Haha yeah I'm getting a little stir-crazy...  And its raining........ Things have been good tho. We started teaching a new lil honey, almost put them on date, and could possibly drop them today, And We have virtual lessons with members every night which cures my depression I love the members here ❤  Not much else has been happening... Ashley is AMAZING and progressing so well!! She just eats up everything we teach her, and is SO excited! I love her, shes also pretty hilarious.  Nothing can stop the work of God!!!  We were supposed to get transfer calls last night.... but that never happened. Idk what's going on... ever, it's fine. I could get yeeted outta B-ville on thursday or I could stay for 2 more months. Or all the missionaries will get sent home. Idk man. We're just all chillin in our apartments doing puzzles 'n stuff.  I have a lot of time to draw tho so that's been nice. ONE YEAR???????

Well, folks, we made it -- ONE YEAR!!! Honestly never thought it would happen, but God is so good, and He loves us too much to let us fail.  The work is going well, we found out one of the less-active members we're working with may not be a member at all! He cant remember if he actually ever was baptized. So that's kinda exciting, in a weird way. Probably not something I should be excited about  Thoughts: I think sending sis Mecham home was a real eye-opener for me, and kind of a reality check. Like missions don't last forever. Going into a church and having everyone instantly love me because of a tag, will eventually end. And even at Walmart we get stopped every time by people who want to talk to us and thank us for our service -- members and non-members! I'm gonna miss that.  Also, training is wack. Ive never been so aware of my weaknesses. also My child is a bit of a rebel, so I think the Lord is giving me a taste of my own medicine! Lol. BUT I FREAKING LOVE HERA. Sh...
