Exchanges!!!!

We had exchanges this week!! And it was awesome. We have amazing sister training leaders. But also high key stressful. Cuz I stayed in the area with one of the STLs, sis Boyce, and sis cozzens went with the other STL to North Marion. Which meant I was in charge of the area for 24 hours. Ahhhhhhhhhhh. (I dont have anxiety, you do) But it was actually so good. I love sister Boyce, she is so kind and funny! And she trained my mom, sister Cozzens, so she is my grandma, lol.

Anyway, I feel like the Lord showed me my potential, like wow I actually CAN do this. I had so much confidence in myself and in the Lord during the whole exchange, cuz I literally had to, it was the only option. And I also had to do all the driving and anyone who knows me knows driving scares me. And one of the towns we're over, Grand Ronde, is 20 minutes away so yeah, lots of driving. And I felt prompted to go to Grand Ronde during proselyting time, and I was like 'oh no Heavenly Father, please don't make me drive to Grand Ronde...' but that's kinda how I knew it was the spirit telling me to do it-- cuz I didn't want to! So we went to Grand Ronde... and it was fine! Haha imagine that. It was like Jesus literally took the wheel, I wasn't anxious at all!! But then we were having a hard time finding a neighborhood we were aloud to proselite in, cuz a lot of Grand Ronde is Indian reservation that we're not aloud on. Oof. But we were driving around for like half an hour with no luck and I started doubting, thinking 'Heavenly Father, why did you make me drive all the way out here?' And then I got the thought that just because there isn't an immediately obvious reaction to a prompting, doesn't mean it wasn't still a prompting. We eventually did find a neighborhood, and right when we got out of the car we ran into this sweet gal who completely opened up to us and told us about her family and her life story and we talked to her for like 30 minutes. She told us to come back too! So cool!! Then, immediately after we finished talking to her, we ran into a less-active member who we also talked to for a long time and she wants us to come teach her kids?! What!! So cool! Literally, the timing was PERFECT. It was no coincidence that we had to drive around for half an hour.
Then, the next morning we were walking around Sheridan and we ran into these 2 old dudes sitting on their porch, and one of them, Ron, completely opened up to us, talking about how he gained a testimony of God and Jesus and he loves them so much. But he has a problem with organized religion, and the Book of Mormon, but respects what we're doing. But he was like, "wow, I NEVER open up to people like this..." Ron!! That's the spirit!! And we talked to him for like 40 minutes, and towards the end he practically ASKED for a Book of Mormon, and said "you never know what'll change your heart". Ahhhhhhhhhhh Ron like come get baptized! Anyway, so that was really cool. Exchanges are literally the best. I'm just glad that God is over these areas and that I cant mess up his work, Haha.

Anyway, the rest of this week was pretty slow. But here are some pics!
