Small Town Vibes

Okay so we are actually in Willamina, and we live in this cute little town called Sheridan and it literally only has 1 stop light, it's the best. Also the closest Walmart is 30 minutes away so.. that's good... everything I imagined Oregon to be, honestly. SUPER green, lots of lumber trucks, haha, and SMALL TOWN VIBES (@stranger things). But yeah it's just the cutest in the whole world. Also moss grows on literally everything, its fantastic. Also there are still stray cats everywhere here so blessings and theres this one black and white one that we see all the time and we named him Martin. Copyright sis Cozzens.

ANYWAY.... haha things have been really slow around here with missionary work, but everyone keeps telling us they're so happy to have sisters because now the work will pick up, lol. Our members are the cutest, the ward consists mostly of old people and they're all so sweet they give you cavities and they're just cinnamon rolls ❤❤❤ and they're so supportive of the missionaries. Our ward mission leader is literally a dad haha. He's so protective over us sisters and doesn't take ANY risks. It's really nice, he's very kind ❤ ALSO theres this one member named Lee and he's an old cinnamon roll and he's my best friend, I adore him, he's just always checking in on us and teasing us and he's like a grandpa to us, he's a silly goose, I love him.

Anyway, MISSIONARY WORK!!!!!! So as I was saying, before I got so distracted, the work has been really slow. BUT yesterday we had a lesson and it was AMAZING!!! Backstory: this guy, Tony, texted us THE DAY WE GOT HERE, and said he was ready to take the lessons again!! So we met with him on sunday (yesterday) and it's actually his fiance who wants the lessons (Angie) and she knows next to nothing about religion in general because it's hard for her to understand. So we taught her the first lesson and as we recited the first vision she just started crying! And she said, "I'm so sorry, I dont know what's happening! Everything you're telling me just makes so much sense!" And we told her that she was feeling the spirit and she just kept crying throught the lesson and I was crying and sis Cozzens was crying and it was just so cool! The spirit was so tangible, you could cut it with a knife. And I just remember thinking, "this is why people go on missions..." it was magical!! the church is so true!!! This gospel is amazing and I'm so grateful I have the opportunity to be apart of the lord's work.

Also did y'all know that stop signs are HUGE??? Anywau talk to y'all next week love you!!
