It rained!!!!!!! The sky is BLUE!! And we can BREATHE!!! The fires around us are all mostly contained so all is well. We also got transfer calls and ........ I'm staying!!!!!!!! That'll be 7.5 months here. This is my fav area and God definitely knows that ❤❤ Hes so sweet to me.  It has been another pretty slow week. The Vernonia sisters are still here so obviously we were very productive and not at all distracted. And we definitely go to bed on time every single night. *nervous laughter*  But here are some rando things:  ♡ A praying Mantis joined our district council. We named him Marmalade.  ♡ Dying my hair dark. I'm Emo now.  ♡ Met some cute dog bois  ♡ Drove to Vernonia!! Prettiest drive of my life ♡ Gotta go outside!!  Sending all my love ❤❤  Syd

Yooooo!!! My friends!! I'm alive!! Lololol. This week has been CrAzY. Definitely the least productive week of my entire mission. It's fine. But yes, Oregon is on fire. Its great. We are safe here in Forest Grove so no worries! It just sometimes rains ash and we're not aloud to go outside. Quarantine pt 2! The best. No it's actually been such a PARTY though cuz the Vernonia sisters (sis Jorgensen & sis Hulse) got evacuated to FG so they've been crashing our place since last monday so we've just had a week long sleepover that's still going  We've eaten all the junk food you can imagine and played every card game in the book. Our favorite is Coup "blocked by my contessa" = most used phrase this week  Its been a good week. Lots of fun. Anyway.  Spiritual thought time! Hi friends!  A super busy yet slow week, not much happened. But we have been doing TONS of service which is great Anyway, some rando things:  ☆ Held a frog boi ☆ Lil girl Jesse did my hair all pretty ☆ Picked some plums  ☆ Exchanges!! Spent the day in Pumpkin Ridge and did street contacting for like 4 hours. We prayed that God would give us someone to teach, but didn't find anyone interested, despite all the people we talked to. THEN on the way home the elders called and had a referral for us!! So cool. Ask and ye shall receive. God rewards our efforts, we just have to be willing to try.  ☆ TURNED 21 -- got 2 cheesecakes and 3 boxes of doughnuts. Thanks for all your lovin ☆ A member gave us homemade Macarons!!!  ☆ took some cute pics in corn  ☆ Did service in a junkyard with the zone  Been studying the Atonement lately.
